Here is a little on what to expect:
Our services are at 10:30 am September through May and 10 am June through August. Services last around 90 min to 2 hours.
You can enter the building through the glass doors on Station Street or through the main entrance on Highland Ave.
There is a parking lot on the eastside of the church that can be accessed along Station Street.
We all come from very different traditions on what feels right and good to wear on Sunday morning. You are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable in the act of worshipping God.
Our intentional cross-cultural community is reflected most in our music. We worship with traditional hymns and uplifting organ music, while also moving with the spirit to contemporary and gospel music. We celebrate different traditions with respect and openness to how God can use all sorts of music to move and speak to God’s people.
Every worship service we center the service on scripture readings. Usually, an Old Testament reading and a New Testament reading. We use the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible.
Children in Worship
Children are a blessing to our community and we desire them to be full participants in the worship experience. We welcome the sights and sounds of children in worship and encourage families to move around the sanctuary as they need to feel comfortable, including utilizing our Kids Corner, a space designed specifically for them in the front corner. We also have a nursery available during the service to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Mid-way through the service we have a children’s prayer then children, kindergarteners through 5th grade, have a special learning time we call “Kingdom Bringers.” During communion Sundays (first and third Sundays) children return to the sanctuary. While all other Sundays, children will be picked up in the learning space after worship.

Consider Membership
Do you want to go deeper with your commitment to the Eastminster Presbyterian Church? To be clear, becoming a member doesn’t mean you currently don’t belong and then you will magically belong to our community once you check all the boxes. You can belong to us and we could belong to you even without an official recognition of membership. Rather, becoming a member is more about making a commitment to be an active part of this dynamic faith community for a season in your life.
